An association with added value for entrepreneurs and employers, for a sector with added value. That is LTO Nederland, the Netherlands Agricultural and Horticultural Association.
The Netherlands Agricultural and Horticultural Association is a cooperation between LTO Noord, ZLTO and LLTB. Together they represent over 35,000 agricultural entrepreneurs and employers, with a commitment to the economic and social position of its members. With success: thanks to the immense contribution that farmers and horticulturists make to the economy, employment, the landscape and the environment, the added value of Dutch agriculture and horticulture is undeniable.
The Dutch agricultural and horticultural sector is very diverse, with agricultural entrepreneurs active in a wide range of subsectors such as arable farming, dairy farming, flower bulb cultivation, greenhouse horticulture, tree cultivation and pig farming. The majority of these farmers is represented by the Netherlands Agricultural and Horticultural Association, via the regional associations LTO Noord, ZLTO and LLTB. Through their membership, they emphasize the added value of an entrepreneurs and employers’ organization which effectively represents their interests at the local, regional, national and international level.
The Netherlands Agricultural and Horticultural Association is a member of COPA, the united voice of farmers in the European Union.
